Paint correction is a process to correct any blemishes that you may have on your car paint work. Defects can come in the way of marks, oxidation, acid rain that etches in the paint, little scratches, bird lime, damage from poor washing. Car paint mainly has 3 layers - clear coat, colour and the base coat primer, the top coat is what we focus on with paint correction.

Nano-technology to protect your car!

Lomax Valeting is now using an advanced nano-technology based nano car paint coating. This sealant sets as hard as glass so it provides superb protection for car paintwork. The super hydrophobic properties of the sealant mean that dirt and water are repelled. This treament also protects from UV damage and will last 18-24 months if the finish is maintained.

The Full Paint Correction Process

  •   Car snow foamed
  •   Clean alloys and wheel arches
  •   Spray lower paintwork with citrus degreaser
  •   Rinse down
  •   Wash with ph shampoo using grit guard buckets and a microfibre wash mitt
  •   Clay bar paintwork
  •   Rewash and dry with plush towels
  •   Tape up sensitive areas
  •   Perform a 4 - 6 stage machine polish
  •   Repeat the wash and towel dry
  •   Apply nano coating (alternatively, sealant and wax is also available on request)
  •   Dress tyres

For those who have had their car detailed by us within the last three months we offer this service to add an additional layer of protection. This is an ideal way of ensuring that your car continues to look it's best. The car will also be fully washed and cleaned again.
